Automatic Transmission 722.6 Electrical Connector

We don't have a sticky on the 722.6,but there is a lot of info in the W210 section.
After much reading,I had always thought the Pilot Bushing Electrical connector 7mm bolt torque was 3Nm.
I have just learned that it was revised down to only 2.5 Nm in 2008,no doubt to reduce the chance of stripping the thread in the conductor plate.
I like to use a screw driver with hex socket to tighten this bolt,and I usually just do it by feel,because I don't trust my torque wrench at such a low amount.
I also pack the socket with tape,so that it actually pushes the bolt in so that it can get started in the thread.
Other points,I have heard that rolling the large o ring down a few mm makes it easier to push it in,but I have not tried this personally.
Also be sure to have the key removed from the car,and if you have keyless go then have the key positioned well away from the car,out of range.
