HI All,

In my W108 from 1972 I have 4 gears automataic gearbox - R 115 271 31 01 and have problem as shifting from 3rd to 4th gear does not work smoothly - there's a jerk. I heard there's a modulator which can be regulate but have no idea how to do it. Can anyone help me on this - where is the modulator and how it should be set.

The oil in gearbox is changed.

if only one gear shift in a abnormal manner , it is a internal problem , adjusting the modulator will act on all gears .just make sure the vacuum line is correct .[ not leaking vacuum ]
