Yeah its kinda hidden around back, about 3 inches down pointed toward the back of the car and slanted up towards the "letters". Use a bright light and look for its wire and give a tug, its not in tight.
Auto Trans Shifter Light- where is it?
I removed black shifter surround and the wood panel on my 1990 190E to locate and replace the shifter light bulb which appears to have been burned out. Problem is I can't find it. I am assuming it is under the gear selector lens but I don't see how this piece is removed. I don't want to force 27 year old plastic so if anyone can assist me to locate this bulb and if necessary remove the lens I would appreciate the assistance.
