I have a 02 c230 with an automatic trans. I am having an issue with the trans, car does not move in drive or reverse. When I put the car in neutral it will drive forward with very little power. Car starts no problem there is no lights on, no malfunctions reader doesn't find anything. (not a professional scanner) I have tried replacing the conductor plate thinking that may have been the issue but it didn't change the problem at all. When I shift it feels like its going into gear but wont move. any ideas? maybe the solenoids?

Maybe the solenoids,,,or
Did you replace the pilot bushing connector and was the plug oily ? If it was ,,have you checked the TCU for oil intrusion ?

You need to scan with a tool that reads MBZ codes - not a generic OBDII scanner. iCarsoft i980 and MBII will do this, as will the Autel MD802 Elite. Of course the best tool is MBZ's SDS.

I will have to find a better scanner to check it out. Was thinking maybe it could be something stupid that I dont know about.
