There are a lot of posts about external lighting in W211.

It all starts at headlight switch (S1). Left front SAM receives light request from S1 and passes it to right front SAM and rear SAM.

Here is life data from left front SAM looking at headlight switch. Switch is moved in sequence OFF, Right park, Left park, headlights on. Attached pdf follows same.

General MB section would be best. But that section is constantly abused by new members, single posters.
