Newest Autel BT dongle. Most affordable and portable scanner. Good coverage, very good shareable reports in PDF format. Included in price EOBD and one car line for a year. After that $19.99 a year.

Software installation simple and easy. Very large download. Uses 3.65 GB of internal storage.
Works on W210 with Autel Benz-38 adapter.

Live data from PSE. State of alarm contacts. Useful when looking for problems with interior lights. What I like about this is that you can walk around the car open and close doors, trunk or trip hood switch and see it live on your mobile device.

Wonderful.

I actually ordered AP200M two days ago, and the adapter from Aliexpress few days ago. I am going to test it to see if it actually supported Autel 38 pin adapter. Autel said, yes, but I wanted to see how many of the modules it can access, and what live data is available from each module.

My cost was $32 for the adapter, and $44 for the Ap200M, both from AliExpress (with Paypal). The Ap200M can ship from USA, so it takes 3-4 days to receive it . The adapter will come from China. It will take a bit longer.

I already have AP200 (the white dongle) which comes with lifetime support for one vehicle (no yearly fees at all for the first brand). Additional brands will cost $21.99 per year. Unfortunately the AP200 does not cover older Benzes. I think it starts from 2006. So it will not support the Autel adapter. I used it for my daughter's Japanese car, and it accesses all modules. With some cars, it can even let you program keys.

No live data from ETC or AAC is my only gripe. Otherwise I think this is best value on the market right now.

Can your other Autel scanner read the ETC and AAC data? The Autel Ap200m says it can read live data for those. Maybe it will come later. It is very recently introduced so it will take time I guess.

What year is the car you are testing? If it has EGS51, live data was not available for my scanner. EGS52 is more supportive datawise.

How about service features ? What can you do with this ?

No it cannot. Pretty much anything that requires HHT-WIN is out. Autologic or SDS are only scanners that work.

Now, on my '03 ML 350 with EGS53 no problem MK808 and AP200M work like a dream. Same with AAC.

What model year is the W210? I suppose it does not auto detect VIN for this car ?
It is MY2000 production date 10/99. Even SDS will not auto detect it. Once you select it manually VIN pops up. Same with Autologic. Same with my '99 ML320.

HT200 is the same as AP200 . It will not support 38 pin adapter to scan W210s. It will only do an EOBD to limited access ECU only.

It currently (Benz V1.0) only supports 207, 212, 213. At least that is what Autel site says.

So far I have tried AP200M on W163, W164, W166, X166 and W210. Works like a champ.

Yeah, AP200M (red dongle) can support all these, but not AP200 (the white dongle).

I am surprised that you cannot read the ETC live data from the W210. It says it is able to support it (97+ cars, DAS3).

Does the AP200M display things like misfire / smooth running counters, O2 sensor live data, fuel trims etc. in some other display?
When I was playing with it garage temperature was 113F. I just had a quick look and bailed out.
