Hi, this is my first thread. I want to fit an after market stereo and need to change to an iso socket to fit new system. It appears the original socket has been replaced by a 10 pin to fit old pioneer radio cassette. Obviously I need to know the original wiring colour coding so I can match with the iso pins. Please elp!

Have you looked for the old pioneer 10 pin diagram?
Might be able to do it that way too?
Pioneers probably more more common on the net.

Most Pioneers use a similar diagram:

  • Yellow = 12v constant
  • Red = 12v switched
  • Black = ground
  • Blue = power antenna

x2 for the following speaker wires:
  • White = front left
  • Green = rear left
  • Grey = front right
  • Violet = rear right
