very quiet. a muffler, resonator, 2 catalytic converters is extreme overkill on these engines.
the full exhaust and resonator only there is a noticeable power loss with resonator,
compared to a straight piped exhaust. but the latter is simply deafening.
like hearing protection required deafening.
so this is full dual exhaust, stock 26 year old resonator only. with 2.5" pipes connecting pipes, and tailpipes. test drive video to follow.
I can actually play the radio/tape deck/CD player, how 'bout that...
it's a relief, really....the straight piped deal was great fun, but not for permanent....
unless of course you're truly racing at the track. there is a power gain straight piped.

here is the test drive, as you can see very quiet unless the gas is floored.
not quite as fast as it was open piped, but much more useable, comfortable.
your wife or girlfriend won't mind cruising in it, let's put it that way
or your mom, etc.
