Dear all,

I've started my SLK yesterday and the ASR light was on (not the yellow triangle light on the speedometer). What would be the common problem for this?

Has your battery been removed/replaced ?

It may need a reset , not sure about the correct proceeder , I think you put foot on the brake and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock.

attached are the inputs to the ASR system...

it is probably the brake switch OR one of the wheel speed sensors which maybe is very dirty or has failed.
