I thought this would be kind of a fun thread. Neat old trucks, some mogs...but should have an artistic edge...

Are they using the Mog as an anchor for rappelling?

Here is a shot from the other side. There is clearly a line going off downhill, but I don't think that I have enough of the sequence to tell what they are up to.

That was a lot of recognisable pics being Dutch and now living in Australia. The fire truck is DELWP (State of Victoria) They have quite a fleet of Mog's.
The pictures from the Netherlands speak for themselves. I raced on the old F1 track btw, it is a nice track in the dunes but at that time it had a one corner that was very motorbike unfriendly (as in, if you came of the bike, you would be in the wall immediately) so I preferred the TT track in Assen for riding as it was MotoGP sanctioned and very safe. Maybe that corner has changed now? I do not follow F1 anymore so no clue how it looks like now.

I don’t follow F-1 like I used too, when I was a kid.

The track was reconfigured in the last year or so,
In order to provide better competition considering the (giant) size of the cars these days. I think they have had just one race there since… it could be two.

The drivers liked the ‘new’ track, and it wasn’t exactly easy to get around.

I’m all for historic tracks being part of the schedule.
Hopefully, the new regulations for this year will shrink the cars a bit and tighten the pack. The Haas team car was the first to roll out ( well, it is a digital sketch, pretending to be a photograph), and it looks pretty good.
Long way to go to see how things work out.

Pretty sure most of the track stayed the same yep. But it is/was relatively narrow compared to some of the new school tracks. Both Zandvoort and Assen are old school tracks. Same goes for Spa and Silverstone. Tracks I have the honour to have ridden. Although the Assen, Spa and Silverstone tracks have a few heart in mouth sections. The last 1/3 of Assen is still seen as scary fast by the MotoGP guys and Spa speaks for itself I guess ;) (so let alone how I mostly felt on the 1000cc Ducati)

Hey, you know what time it is?

'Moggin time!

(Please note that's just a scrap piece of wood I had kicking around, I didn't spend any time photoshopping your picture, and the stock clock hands that come in the Amazon kits are horrendously gawdy).
