I thought this would be kind of a fun thread. Neat old trucks, some mogs...but should have an artistic edge...

I guess this might qualify as somewhat artsy. I was working on this image for a background on our 4WD club site but decided to not use it. I did end up working on it to use as my avatar though.

I want, I WANT to make this a poster for my wall.

This is awsome!

You may have just cemented in my mind a someday paint scheme. Though this might just look realy odd in every other circumstance but this one photographed situation. Hard to tell.

Art.... I know its in the eye of the beerholder..... ahhhh I mean beholder..... but lets not let this turn into a thread on favorite shots. Keep it as close to Artsy as you can.

Feel free to start another thread on Favorote Mog shots though that dont quit fit in this Artsy thread.

Lets not get into a debate on it. Just keep it in mind. Most in here are on target. Just interjecting to help keep it that way.

Feel free to start other threads on pics of favorite Mogs .... or favorite pics of my (your) mog.., or favorite cool pics of mogs etc. etc.

Once you get in to the "what is art debate" there's no backing out, and it's not a debate we need to have here. I like looking at all of the pretty pics, artsy or not, so lets go back to debating GL4 vs 5 and other usefull stuff.

I already deleted the posts that caused the moderator's comment. While I thought the pics were artistic in their composition, the moderator suggested they weren't appropriate. I'm not a regular poster over here, so I didn't argue.

one should never assume. I said nothing about any specific pictures.

yes IMHO the composition of your pics provided an artstic element. Sorry you removed them. I think.. LOL. Was yours the one of the two armed mower?

Had no desire for anyone to remove anything. Just keeping things steered on course.

Was commenting more on the poster who in his TEXT of his post alluded his pics as being favorite pics" followed by pics that were bit questionable artsy.. But no matter; It still wasn't my view of artsy that prompted my responce though.

It was the poster alluding to "Favorite" in combination with the pics... that made me wonder if he miss read the intent of the thread.

Thus my responce, soley aimed at steering the thread before others follow that lead and get us of course into just a favorites thread and not favorite artsy one..

Not requesting any pics be removed, not into debating what is / is not artsy

Chill... folk, you over complicating things.

Holidays must have folk on edge :eek: :rolleyes::D

ohhhh.... thinking of holidays.... that would be a good thread.
