Has anyone tried to flip the driver and passenger arm rests? My driver side is getting a little worn so I thought I would flip it over and swap with the passenger side. After I took the seat apart and got the armrest un bolted, I realized the bracket securing it to the seat will only mount in one position which doesn't allow me to flip them over.

Noticed the clips in the spring mechanism within the armrest could be popped off, but not sure it would work properly after I put it back together in the opposite direction.

Me and my big ideas....anyone have some advice...thinkin it might be easier to have it re-covered, not crazy about matching the leather and lookin for other options..

Thanks,
Robert

Robert,
Sfak was giving away his old seats. The motors were damaged due to water, but this could work out in your favor...
