Eh, I've seen a "hooked up" mid 90's Toyota celica with those rims around town...

Well it should be know that I hate chrome wheels, but I'll look past that and say I still don't think they look any good, well I'm being modest in saying that.

But hey, your car, do with it what you'd like.

To be honest and only because you asked...Over the top. That color combo is beautiful and those wheels take away from it. I would go with painted to match the top coat. Something soft with gun metal would also be nice.

Deff. lower it and if you decide to keep paint the calipers red.

One of the issues with very open rims on our cars is that our calipers and rotors are kind of puny. :(

Might want to consider a brake upgrade if you want to go with those wheels.

I have to re-paint my calipers Red. I did them in black to match, but I like the red.

I'm not a big fan of modern edgy wheel designs, period. They all seem to be made for escalade's and what not.

Made-In-USA Lorinser D9 knock-offs are cheap and, IMO, look great.

Call me a purist, but i'm all about what was available in period. i don't especially like the wheels on my car, as they are from a later model Benz. Of course period stuff isn't always easy to find or cheap... but a good set of BBS basket weaves or anything period AMG is my favorite, or Pentas.

Rent the first few seasons of Miami Vice and you'll see plenty of pimped out wheels on big 126 cars. No joke, that's what I did... then I down loaded Phil Collins' "In the air tonight".... put it in the 560 and went cruisin'. man, am I living in the past or what?

If you like them it doesn't really matter what any of us think. Paint 'em pink if it suits you.
I may have flames painted on mine before it's all said and done. Maybe!

I've been looking for these staggereds.... pic of Satish's V12 SEC (obviously, since you see a Ferrari in the reflection).

I LOVE THESE RIMS the perfect offset (and I see many AMG rims that are plain WRONG for the w126) and these would be a great update to my AMG...Pentas, Lorinsers, and these for a change of clothes from time to time.

Cascade...you listening?? :D

What make/model are these rims? Where are these found? And do they make these without the dimples on each hole opening (on the outer rim)?

One guy (I forget his name) in NY had a 560SEC Euro that he SADLY! banged up the front end and couldn't get it to look/fit right with an amateurish body repair job. The car had these rims as well.
