Are these prices right? (CLK55 Airbox, MAS)

I am having some issues that are possibly the MAF/MAS so I called the dealer to see how much it was thinking a few hundred, but damn. Is it normally $421? Allot to pay if its NOT the problem. If it is then owell.

Actually everything I got quoted seemed kinda high, are there prices right?

Mass Airflow Sensor $421.20
Stop Lamp Switch $22.05
w208 CLK55 Airbox $180
CLK55 engine cover $145
Hoses $165x2
Some other brackets $30+ (then he started going off saying I might need some additional elbows and stuff, and it might get to about $1,000).

Anyone have a list of the exact parts I need for the 430 to 55 Airbox switch? So they don't take all my money.

Also do those prices seem correct?

Well gives 20hp. So far it adds up to about 700, but the guy just mentioned it might need other parts that might cost more. But even 700 for 20HP is not the best. I was just wondering what everyone else paid, and what parts are needed.

$700 for 20HP doesn't sound that bad considering Powerchip charges over $800 for about 20HP.

MAF/MAS and Stop Lamp Switch are just some things I needed for my car. Seems over priced for the MAF though. Anyone have any clue of the prices I posted are normal?

Those numbers sound about what I have seen, but I don't think I paid $20 for my stop light switch.

sorry! I wasnt real clear!

I have an upgraded HPS gen 2 blower on my engine, Im not sure if it will fit a stock m113!I was trying to give you some prices to compare with, sorry for any confusion! You could check in to it,may fit! I think the better application may be the clk55 though.:thumbsup:

Wow thanks Thrill! I was just afraid to look on Ebay. I didn't want to get some cheapy thing that will malfunction. I know ALLOT of people had issues with the imitation Stop Lamp Switches, saying they messed up after a few weeks. You think this Bosch MAF is good?

Vadim Airbox

Linh, this guy Vadim from Mbworld does he sell stock mb airboxes for cheap or does he make a custom airbox! If it is a custom airbox is it better than the stock 04 E55amg box?

He sell the complete stock 04 E55 AMG air box and with under drive pulley, he showed dyno chart of 21 rwhp gain for the Clk 500.
