Are the front fog lights an option on the new ML? Looking at the order guide, the Lighting Package includes "Corner Illuminating Front Foglamps." Does this mean foglamps are not standard on this vehicle? I'll have to add this package if that's the case.

Believe that they are std. The cornoring fog lamps are not but are an upgrade to the std ones. At least thats how I interpret this

Well, the description of the foglamps that come in the "Lighting Package" are not the ones that adjust with the steering of the car. They are "corner-illuminating" so you can see curbs. Since they mention this as part of the Lighting Package, can I assume no Lighting Package, no foglamps?

In Europe we can buy all options separatly (we don't have to buy packages) and in the German price list it is not possible to order foglights, so I am quite sure they are standard.

"corner illuminating" basically means that when you give a signal to make a left/right turn, an additional lamp (hopefully white) gets lit so that you can see where you are turning into. My Infiniti had this.... You will also see some Caddy's with the same feature.

I hope the new ML has a door ajar/door open indicator in the dash as standard.
