Hi I just purchased some 20 * 8.5 Lexanis for my 2002 E320, and I was wondering what tire size you guys would recommend. Do you think 245's would rub? Thanks [:D]

I believe they would, many times ,I've been told that
20" are too big for an 'E' class. I also believe the limitation is 18"...19 or 20" are too big for the wheel well. Hope this helps...

20's do not fit i went through this last week i put 20s on my 1999 e430 they looked great but they touched my bumper cover and that was just sitting there if you tired to turn it would of ripped of the cover so we took them off and put on 3pc. 19.85- 19.8 foose rims they look great no rubbing at all.
toy can look at photos in my gallery.235-35-19 are about 25.40 in. 245-20 are 26.80 in look at your 19s and add 1.40 in to that and you will see that they touch.do you have pics of your e320 it sounds nice.

Ok, lets clear this up.

Wheels that are 20x8.5 offset 38 with 255.30.20 Continentals, don't fit straight onto an e-class.

the rear causes no problem at all, but on the front there is a drop link bolt that comes out from the strut to directly above the wheel. This either needs to be skimmed back or the wheel needs to be spaced out pst it or it will catch.
