I just wanted to say thank you to forum members for their advice and contributions.
Through this forum not only did I do some jobs that I never thought I'd be able to do but I also realized that I love tinkering and working on my car. I've always liked doing things with my hands but it never crossed my mind that I'd enjoy this as much as I have and being part of this community is a big part of it.

Shout out to @rudeney and @bobterry99 who have advised me a lot as well as @Triple cranks, @kbob999, @Deplore, @Cowiepeters.

Those guys you mentioned are great, plus others. I found Benzworld almost twenty years ago when a shop wanted to charge me $400 to replace front brake pads. I felt that was high so I went home and learned that pads cost less than $50 and took twenty minutes to replace! Been saving money ever since.

The cars I got help with on Benzworld include, but not limited to, R107 SLC450, R129 500SL, W124 300E, (black one, gold one, maybe another color in there I forgot..) W201 190E, W202 C220, W124 300CE, W140 S500, W220 S500, R230 SL600, R230 SL550, R170 SLK230, and some more that I can't even remember! Thanks Benzworld and all you guyz! Couldn't even count how much money I've saved! Plus, working on your own Mercedes Benz is a joy... most of the time. I always admired the cars when I was a kid, so when I grew up I came into owning a bunch of them!

HA!! I knew I was forgetting some Benzos in my list. W163 ML320, X164 GL460, Geez with all these mercedes I must be crazy! If I only saved $100 on each car by doing my own repairs and maintenance, well, I'd have a lot of money.
