When raising the top on my 2001 CLK, 9 times out of 10, the top makes the initial movement, then stops with a slow flashing of the top button. The car has been in to the MB dealer 6 times and has had 6 switches and 3 control modules replaced and it's still not working. Anyone know what's going on?

CLK cab having problems with the top?

Have the same problem with MY2001 CLK 320 cab. I have tried multiple maneouvres including dropping it in a single sweep, retract it down further from the console before attempting opening it...all with no consistent improvement. I am hoping other board members have any suggestions.This amongst other reasons is why I will only lease and not buy a car that has so many problems..I will return it happily at lease end.
