There are a set of wheels I'm considering but they are a ET45 offest. Anyone have experience with this offset or should I look at different wheels with ET35.

I recently obtained some wheels from a W124 E class with ET49 - when I fitted them they looked like they would rub the suspension on the front when turning a corner and they were incredibly close to the brakes on the rear, therefore I removed them and put my originals back on without so much as moving the car.

I don't know what maximum ET a W202 could safely accomodate, but I would suggest your ET45 wheels may cause you problems.
