Please post some pics of your B if you got tinted windows. Take note of the brand you used and percentage darkness. I am planning to tint mine but doesn't know how it will look. I am looking for heat reduction, privacy and cosmetic look... but not 5% limo black for sure. I am thinking Huper Optik. Post some pics with tinted windows on Comet Grey.

I have a comet grey turbo in Toronto, and it sure wasn't tinted like that from the factory. Your tint looks pretty sharp mind you - perhaps too dark for me - but good non the less. Did you buy it new? I wonder if a prior owner or the dealer tinted beforehand?

Just got my wife's B200 tinted. They are 50% front and 35% back using something called Suntek High Performance tints. They were done here in Montreal by 'Installations GTH' so if anyone local is interested in using their services I highly recommend them. PM me for their contact info.

Hard to tell in the pic due to the reflection but they do not look very dark at all but they definitely cut down on the sunlight inside. We got these mainly because I have two young kids and we like to keep it shaded in the car.

Did your tinter recommend/suggest moleskin (felt) install? Many MB owners say and know that the inner weather plastic is too hard and will scratch the tint over time. I tinted mine three months ago and haven't notice any scratch yet. I try not to roll down windows. I used Huper Optick which is a much thicker tint than others. Also, how is you dot-matrix?

My tinter mentioned to me that there have been concerns about the hardness of the weather plastic. He felt along one of the edges and then stated that it didn't seem to be too bad.

The winters were tinted this past Tuesday so I haven't opened the windows yet. I'll be sure to check once I do.

With respect to the dot-matrix, I'm unfamiliar with with that is or the value I have. I did do a quick check on the SunTek web site and didn't come up with anything. All I know is that it does look great. I'll try to take a picture from the inside.

Auto tinter refers the black dots around the rear window as dot-matrix. In the B, those two small wing windows have them too. Those areas aren't flat like side windows if you feel it. Those area raises a little so it is difficult for the tint to stick/dry/bond properly to the glass. Often it will leave a whitish line and it looks ugly.

His standard price is $190 for the regular tint. The High Performance was an extra $20, which I opted for on this car. They're located in Dorval very close to 55th Ave and Cote-de-Liesse. Here's a number. Ask for Jonathan. 514-501-0430

Here are some pics from the inside and I tried to capture that dot-matrix thing. Looks good to me.

Just be aware that the tight seals can cause the tint to be scratched. I had Moleskin applied to the inside seals so that this problem is significantly minimalised.

I am going to tint the rear five windows in two weeks. What %VLT shade looks good on Comet Grey Metallic? I want it to look classy, have some privacy, and heat reduction. I don't want limo black as it causes problem driving at night and a gangster look. Too light is no good either as my interior is beige. I am thinking maybe 20%. What do you think?
