I was confused by some of the posts here as to exactly what was right for my particular car. So I went to
http://www.meguiars.com/howtocenter/
and got a very good report. No --- they didn't try to sell me everything --- it seemed very reasonable. They recommended one of three washes, ScratchX and two different waxes --- no clay, no orbiter. I'd be interested to hear what you 'pros' get back and how it compares to what you're currently doing. Thanks:

THE SCRATCH X IS UNREAL....IVE GOT A BLACK 100TH ANNIVERSARY AND I USE IT ON IT...NOT ONE SCRATCH OR SWIRL ANYWHERE.....IF I GET TOWEL SCRATCHES I USE THE SCRATCH X AND AFTER 2 APPLICATIONS ITS GONE...THE BEST ON BLACK PAINT IVE EVERV FOUND...MAKE SURE PAINT IS COOL TO THE TOUCH..

I took it an followed their reccomendations for both my cars.
No complaints on the black 230.
The quik detailer is a waste of money, never needed it.
Gold class wash, step 1 paint cleaner, step 2 wax, step 3 polish, quik detailer. It's been 4 washes since & it is still shiny.
