Anyone need a set of center caps?

I have a set of used center caps if anyone wants them. I took them off my stock 16" wheels....The paint on them has seen better days and is pealing off the emblem, but figured I'd ask in case anyone was in need. First come...first served....

The center caps from the 463 wheels will not fit the 460 wheels! They are totally different animals.
RE: Center Caps Compatibility Warning!!

i thought the centers of the alloys were all the same for years and years accros all products... but the centers of the alloys are totally different than for the steel wheels that's for sure, i've got both at home. The factory centers for the steelies are actually pretty cheap... even from europa... i think it's because they're now plastic instead of cast aluminum... not that they'd have any incentive to reduce the price with a manufacturing cost reduction.

The center caps on my 1984 280GE with steel wheels were plastic from the factory.

Dutch,

Thanks for the heads up. I sent Robert another note and we will try to compare any part numbers on the caps he has with any numbers on the cracked caps from my steel wheels. If they are not compatible, hopefully someone else can benefit from Robert's generosity.

The center caps for the 460 steel wheels actually fit over the wheel's center hole and are held in place by tabs wedged under the lug bolts.

The center caps for the 463 and other alloy wheels insert into the center hole of the wheel and are held in place by spring loaded friction. They are flush with the wheel. The others are not.
