Bruce,

The Koenig SEC kit is just a rebadged Mosselman kit as is the TDI kit. I think it was rated at 300 hp for the US models.

Thanks.

That sucks eggs. I wonder what it is on a Euro car that starts off with 300HP?

I dredged up their site, and they say it's 440HP, but not sure if that's a completely new kit, only on Euro motors, or what.

The Koenig kit on that SL is a Vortech unit. That one could support 440 hp but the old one based on the TDI/Mosselman kit on the other post couldn't support that type of power. At over $18,200, the Koenig kit is a bit hard to swallow. I wonder if that hp rating was based on a Euro motor?

Best looking wide body ever - my opinion

This was German conversion - I do not know of any US spec car that would have been converted - 440hp sounds awesome.

Regardless of the power - the Koenig body kit - best looking wide body ever - positively Sid Vicious !

I beg to differ. The AMG was THE widebody. The Koenig looks like a design some 10 year old would come up with in a drawing.

Ewww, you can't be serious! The Koenigs are ugly. They look so awkward and 'bat mobile'... Each to their own... [;)]

Sometimes you can bring a horse to water - but they won't drink..

Considering the photo's are a "grey day" - shit, that Koenig machine is plain Sid Vicious.

Thank's to the board for the Koenig link - we think AMG's are rare - the Koenig is a black diamond !

You guys are thinking of the god-awful Koenig Testarossa-style widebody with the side strakes.

Fabbri and I are talking about the one below, which is much more subtle and classier looking.

Bruce
Bruce,

I agree that it is much better looking than the side-strakes model, but subtle it is not........:D
