Just considering it in my '99 ML 430. Is this a task for DIY or professional only? Just wondering.

There are several holes beginning to appear from wear and I suspect, dry rotting from when we had the carpets steamcleaned (and failed to dry properly). I was stupid for not having installed sculpted runner mat/liners when it the car was new. Thanks in advance!

I am thinking that you could do it on your own, but, you have to take the seats out, probably the easy part. The real pain would be removing the old carpet, I am sure it is well glued and would be a real mess getting it off.
