Yep, I'm going to have to park it next to the 500SL with the big leak from the power steering box so that no one notices.Do they have OEM drip trays for these cars?
What was that joke?
Even the service manual on CD will leave a puddle of oil on your desk?
Jaguar V12's are not that bad and the 6 liter cars are supposed to be a lot better then the older ones. With the older cars, you have to be careful that the car is not run hot as pressed in valve seats can drop if a car is run hot.V-12 - you are indeed a brave man.
Thanks, parts support is generally pretty good (I have a buddy who has 18 in his back yard so I'll be OKNice looking car, I have a couple of friends who have them. One has a Chevy V8 engine (he also has a 914 Porsche with a Chevy V8). I've always liked them but I understand maintenance is a bit pricey, parts may be difficult to find. During the "Ford era" parts became more easily available which did help keep the cars running. I had 3 contemporary (new) Jags during that time and I was happy with them. Then came Tata...
^^ First rule about restorations, buy one that's already been done, you'll never recoup the expenses. (unless your the shop doing the job)At some point, I'm going to need to figure out how to make money out of this hobby, before I starve to death![]()
