i dont think i've ever seen a E55 in other than those 2 colors...??


but i still think E55s look the best in brilliant silver by far!!

Mine is tectite grey, it suits the car well.

I do like silver too, easy to keep clean.

I think I noticed a dark red or burgundy one for sale not far from me not long ago.

Most are certainly those two colors, at least in the U.S. I really wanted Tectite, but I couldn't find one locally for sale when I purchased. I think that is the best color, particularly if you stick with stock wheels.
Some lucky soul in Atlanta has a tectite one I see from time to time, but I'm lucky if I see a W210 E55 (other than my own) at all more than once or twice a month.

I found this Tectite Gray up in LA. Looked at half a dozen black and silver E55's and pulled the trigger. Love at first site!

2002 Designo Silver (silv/green)

I have an ORIGINAL 2002 Designo Silver E55 AMG (silver/green tinge)

It has Wood Steering Wheel with Matching Interior.

Leather is Very Dark Blue (almost black) with a Natural Wood color, (not crappy birds eye blackwood). Let the wood be natural.


I wonder how many they made in this color, I like the tectile grey also... I orginally wanted a silver e55 but magically I came across this one.

UPDATE: It's now Feb 2022 and I have around 56k miles on it 😀
