hey guys, how easy is it to get hold of a 2.3 16v engine ?? how much roughly can you pick one of these engines up for ?? and how much work to change it over from 2liter to the 2.3 ?? i know you would have to uprate brakes and stuff but wot else ??

I believe you may need to upgrade the radiator... but not positive. I know that it is required if you're upping anything smaller than the 2.6 to the 300E engine.

There was a 2.3 16v engine on ebay last week, not sure may still be on there.

ive checked ebay tylerb but none can get one here in the uk for £680 which is about $1060

Steve - whereabouts did you find that engine? <br> I'm in England too (Gloucestershire, you?).. but don't worry I don't want to buy it! But I am looking for a 3.0 with low mileage to fit into my 2.0E.. hey maybe if you did this too at the same time it would be easier for the both of us... it does bolt straight in.<br> <br> By the way, got any other pics of your car?
