Mirror removal is very simple. All the mirrors on MB's are spring loaded. To remove, you simply have to "push" the whole mirror housing towards the front of the vehicle to reveal a metal clip. Don't worry, since they are spring loaded, you will not break anything. This metal clip is what's holding the plastic shell to the mirror housing. Get a large thin screwdriver and release the shell by pushing away the metal clip. That's all. You will then be able to remove the bulbs attached to the shell and replace with whatever type of bulb you want to put in there. Here are some pictures of the clip you will have to push in order to remove the plastic shell.Is there a special way of pulling out the mirror?
Cause I'm interested in modifying those lights as well but are not sure how to remove them. Any help will be appreciated.
