Is there a special way of pulling out the mirror?
Cause I'm interested in modifying those lights as well but are not sure how to remove them. Any help will be appreciated.

I had clear amber LED's installed in mine.......for less than $30

That's only because a very good friend of mine was in town who knew a thing or two about electronics, helped me out. He said that he'd mod out my mirror blinkers with my choice of LED colors; all I had to do was pay for the LED's. Anyways, last weekend I handed him about $30 and left my car with him. He, by the way, also drives a C230K!![:)][:)] He has already done the same mod on his car. Let me tell ya, it looks sweet!!

Mirror removal is very simple. All the mirrors on MB's are spring loaded. To remove, you simply have to "push" the whole mirror housing towards the front of the vehicle to reveal a metal clip. Don't worry, since they are spring loaded, you will not break anything. This metal clip is what's holding the plastic shell to the mirror housing. Get a large thin screwdriver and release the shell by pushing away the metal clip. That's all. You will then be able to remove the bulbs attached to the shell and replace with whatever type of bulb you want to put in there. Here are some pictures of the clip you will have to push in order to remove the plastic shell.
