Hey all, I know there is a calender and post for events, but I did not see any lined up. On older posts I see there was a meet in the spring for the r129 gang as well as other MB drivers in Southern California a couple years ago at T.J.s. Does that still happen, or something like it? I would love to meet some of you, and share my new found r129 love.

Damn that traffic, it took me an hour and a half to get at TJ's.
It was great meeting the guys tho.
I don't know about this year, but it would be a nice thing to do.

Lynns usually organizes these event, however to keep it simple every week "Car and Coffee" has a great all car display event, 300-400 Sports to Classics from 7am to 9am in Irvine, Ca. We would be welcome and can park our cars there. If we arrive no later than 6:30 am, we shouldn’t have any problem finding a line up in their display area. I think aam, Roadking, Lynns and many more would participate. The address: 7905 Gateway Blvd. Irvine, Ca. Take the Alton Pkwy off the 5 from Los Angeles. I'm usually there every weekend but park in the display overload lot to the left on the main display area. But if there's 3 of us and over, I would definitely move to that area. And Yes, our cars would be consider displayable...

Thanks for the info guys. I would be game for any sort of event like the ones you mention. I plan to head down to Cars and Coffee, so seeing some fellow r129's would be sweet...
