I think your problem is the vacuum system controlling the locks,backup rods, etc. Seems the expert in this forum on the topic is BrettSanDiego-if you can find some of his blogs, or else enter vacuum in the search engine. Do the door close assists and the trunk assist work? They are I think on a separate vacuum system.
