After replacing my condenser, system held freon for about 6 month, after that it lasted for just 3 weeks .
Last night i traced it down to the compressor shaft seal (traces of UV dye ), thought it would be easy compressor rebuild fix , but when i tried to remove the low-pressure hose i heard hissing freon from under the hose insulation, pulled all insulation and found that half of the metal pipe was rusted.
All the black stuff near the port and down that you see in the picture is rust, I got lucky and got used hose from 1995 s420 that was in local junk yard , I will coat it with POR15 to prevent future rusting.

Check yours to see how it looks like , it might not be too late for you.

Sounds like the tubing is steel. That sucks. It works on the high side but condensation will destroy it. WTF.
