I came across these pictures of mercedes w123 tombstone. It is for a 15 year old who died before his could get his driver's licence in 1981, yet always fantasized about driving a Mercedes 240D.

I am selling our 72 250C with webbers and CDI conversion kind of Mercedes answer to the GTO and Z28.
The old carb noise makes it sound like it wants to race.
A Mercedes diesel is much safer. I am leaning toward letting him have a 72 280SE with 115/300D conversions.
Of course he has asked if we could come up with a later version 300D with Turbo to put in it.
