I think they are still available at MB.

The 8,5's have rimnumber C7400174
The 10's have rimnumber C7400147

Someone here will probably be able to tell you the part number (starting with "HWA") as well.

The CXXXX numbers are the old AMG part numbers which unfortunately the dealers can't do anything with. Most if not all left over AMG parts have been changed over to BXXXX numbers or HWA xxxxx. I don't have either but do know for a fact that the wheels can still be ordered new. The come in newer "///AMG" boxes, but the centers of the wheels are the old school version without "///".

is there a particular MB dealer i have to get in contact with Snibble, or do you think my local dealer here in Aus would be able to help source them for me?

are the part numbers really necessary.. i mean, can't i just give them the name of the wheels? they're AMG aero 3 piece, right?

OK, I was able to find the part number for the rear 10 inch wide ones. I am still trying to get the front but will post once/if I find it.

The rear are B66020064 and I get a European price of nearly 1000 Euro's a piece in the computer. I bet in the US/Australia it could be cheaper as we don't get the VAT being out of Europe.

Give that number to your dealer and see what they and what the price is

There's a lot of talk about how nearly all old AMG parts can't be bought from the dealership. I have found this to not be entirely true... found many things that were claimed to be "impossible" or "NLA" to be available if someone just does the investigation. Good luck!

weird... that comes out to be a couple hundred Euro's more. I checked with the most updated prices and thats the price I got. If thats the case, then time to do some duty-free shopping in the EU;)

doggfather.... I wasn't able to find the front part number. I found a number that I *think* could be the fronts, but it has no description other than its a wheel. Could be a variety of AMG wheels to tell you the truth.

well, wholesale is 1400...so perhaps you were getting those or even being quoted dealer cost which was around 11-1200 or so.

edit:

here is the line copied from this months price list:

66020064 DISC WHEEL 174000 144000 113000

B66020064 LM-FELGE SCHEIBEN 12.12 964.18

Thats how I got my numbers... with 12.12 being the weight in Kg and 964.18 is the price in Euro before VAT.

I'd have to ask my local dealer here to see if it is in fact that price that I got. Could possibly be that the price went up a lot considering the tumble in the $USD value.

i talked to the dealer this morning and after many questions and several hours later, i managed to get a price on the rears.. $2900 per rim!

it would probably make more sense to get a used set after all, and get them refurbished if neccessary..

so if anyone here has a decent set of 17" AMG 3 piece wheels (8.5" & 10") and wants to sell them, or knows somebody who might, let me know.

cheers ;-)
