Right...after I posted that I kinda figured that's what you were asking. I looked around a little and didn't really see anything out there posted on the web about doing an aftermarket AMG supercharger but I did see this article from 2001. Kinda interesting and basically the article says the Kleemann supercharger is much superior to the AMG one and much much better for your engine. Anyway, here's a snippet of the article........
The 4.3-liter V-8 in our CLK43K makes 427 hp and 401 pound-feet, well above both the base 275 hp and 295 pound-feet and the 342 hp and 376 pound-feet generated by the CLK55 AMG's naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V-8.
Icing on the strudel, er, Danish: A Kleemann Mercedes costs less than a similar AMG car. The V-6 supercharger and intercooler kit costs $9500, and the V-8 kit sells for $14,350 on a CLK ($400 less on sedans) and takes 10 to 12 hours for installation (figure $1400 at most for labor). So a base C320 with a Kleemann engine upgrade would cost $48,495 (or $2604 less than the C32 AMG), and the CLK430 would start at $66,537, or $2710 less than the CLK55 AMG's price.
