Hello everyone, i am getting parts from germany for my w140 off of a 97 e50 amg. Now they sent me a picture of the spark plug label now my question is this right? this was for the m119.982 mine is the same engine technically. Plus i am getting alot of parts The original plugs according to them is BKR 5 EKU. but would that work on the US engine?

Shouldn't be any problem. The larger question is why? Are you expecting some gain here? NGK, BKR 5 EKU's are available from clubplug.net for $5.44 ea.

i am getting alot of stuff off that engine. Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, throttle body, ecu, airbox, injectors, FPR, Fuel rail, Fuel pump, coils and there is more on the list.

my question was would that spark plug fit? The guys gave me the part numbers for engine block, camshafts, crankshaft and pistons they were all the same as the regular m119.982 5.0

thank you plus i always prefer ngks over bosch plugs. when ever i use i bosch i have a slight rough idle.

I hope you didn't pay too much. Somebody was just trying to selling a brand new AMG block in Germany, it didn't go for 10K €. I think ECU was also included, pretty good deal

didn't pay a dime it was gift from a relative from germany the down side is it might take months before it gets here but that lady has liked me ever since i was a kid long story short she got it as a gift
