Yep, they did exist, right at the end of the w126 production run.

I was always curious when i found AMG Aero I's with the ///AMG homologation, 8J x 17 ET11 Aeros I which were really only for w126's.

Those ads look brand new. Where did you find them?

That brochure is a great find Talbir.

When was it printed?

Did AMG continue to produce accessories for the W126 after the production run ended in 1991?

In my AMG catalog's from the '80s, they still advertise accessories for the W116 and the SLC W107, many years after they went out of production.

That's quite a surprise; I was ready to call BS, but it came from you, Talbir.

Talbir, did you eventually get that catalog? Was there anything else in there that I've not seen?

Talbir,
That is SWEET! Is there any way you could scan that and send me a copy? I'd be very interested in seeing it!

So do any of you have a w126 with the newer AMG badge?
Actually the 17" Aeros that I have on my 560sec are the later ones with the ////AMG logos....

While back when I was trying to sell these people did not belive that they are real AMG's

Well, I used to have a set of AMG Monoblock II's with the /////AMG logo.

They were 16"x7.5", ET 17, so it is unlikely they were made for anything other than the W126.

I have a AMG North America catalog dated 1987 and there are several offerings for the 126 - wheels , aero body kits, and several engine mods as well as a 4 cam AMG 5.6 motor that claims 51% power gain over stock motor.

Talbir's post is making note of the fact that the new catalog in his collection features W126 parts with the current '///AMG' logo as opposed to the original 'AMG'
Many/most (but not all) W126 owners have believed AMG optioned W126 models only had parts stamped with 'AMG' not '///AMG'

Don't get me wrong though, it's nice to hear you have an original AMG catalog, I'd love to have one myself
Talbir as well as a few others also has original 'AMG' catalogs

Sounds like what I have, and IIRC the part number on the inside of the wheel began with 126.

And yes, the logo is ///AMG (I was also a little surprised 126 pieces would have the /// logo)

Yeah, the older logos looked something like AMG or A M G

And they were often (always?) in black (rather than silver or chrome color)

Does anyone know what the actual part number for the later ///AMG Aero I wheels was? And was the offset also ET11 for this set?
