I'm embarrassed to even read this post - sorry but what exactly are you trying to accomplish by faking it?

There is another discussion where people are saying there is nothing wong to fake anything. 4 pipes out on C250, badges etc. My car is stock and it will be besides tires, I am just interesting in opinion of most owners about.

It doesn't matter what styling you wish to pursue. You can do a AMG "style" makeover or whatever else you want. But as long as there is a V6 NON-AMG engine under your hood, putting AMG badges will just cause a lot of horse $h1t. And trust me you don't want that.

This is a thread where a guy slapped on some crazy body kit and then had the nerve to AMG badge it. I'd suggest you read through that thread before you make any decisions on your car.

AMG is not meant for how the car looks or sounds. It's the engine that they are famous for.

My preference would be a AMG license plate frame, not badge on body. Not a big deal.

Seriously, do you think it would look legit and/or right to your eyes if AMG badge is visible on C350 coupe trunk and this car is with AMG package?
Personal choice but I think false advertising is lame! It's a sweet ride, why tarnish it?

Yes, it is funny looking car, but check this mods. Do you think it is better?

I noticed your user id. I was wondering if you had a spare Breitling wings and anchor insignia that I could put on my Timex? I have a Breitling band on the Timex so I should be good to go.
Not clear why did you quoted above? My userid related to breitling watches same way as ALLIKANBE to ALLSTATE insurance for example :)

It's a nice setup for sure. But you can also notice how many people are against AMG badging on a Non-AMG car. No matter what you do to the car, it will never be an AMG. If you wanted an AMG then you should have bought one in the first place. If not then be happy with what you have and don't be a poser.

So here's another opinion. I immediately peg people who have fake AMG badges on their cars as idiots. If I see you faking AMG at a cars and coffee, I'll confront you and call you out on it in front of everyone

While you're at it, why not buy a fake Rolex and a fake Armani suit to go along with your fake car. When you put a badge on there, you're putting a stupid piece of plastic on your car that hints that it costs more money than it actually does. But non-Mercedes people don't know what AMG is and Mercedes people know it's fake. It's a lose/lose and on top of that, you come off as a douchebag

So if you're ok with that, then be my guest and buy the badge and slap it on. Doesn't bother me, just glad I'm not you
