I just purchased some staggered 18X8.5 and 18X9.5 AMG Monoblock wheels on Ebay. The auction stated that the wheels fit CLK E and S class. Do I need some special lug nuts to put these wheels on a 1992 500 SEL? I read somewhere on this forum that the S class requires different lugware. Is this true? Can I use my original lugnuts with these AMG wheels? Also, what is a good tire size for these wheels. Would 245-40-18 and 275-35-18's work? Thanks for your help.

AMG 18's for S-class

I picked up the wheels and noticed the following. The wheel sizes are actually 18X9 et35 and 18X8 et 31. I think the offsets are for the SL. Will these wheels work for my S ? Now I think I have another set of wheels for the SL. Any info about these wheels would be greatly appreciated.
