Hi all,

I know these sort of questions have been asked thousands of times, BUT............

Does anybody know if wheels from a 1999 C class c240 sport fitted with 225/40/18 tyres would fir my 2001 vito?

Thanks in advance

Graeme

Depending on the offset yes they will. The offsets for that C class is 35-45 the standard for the vito is 50. You may require spacers if the tyres foul the suspension but i dont think they would.

well

I thought the lower the offset the further out the rims are, so more likely to foul the guards

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, i was very tired when i posted that last night. the lower the offset the closer the hub mounting face is to the back of the wheel.

They will fit...but if your van is lowered they might just catch the rear arch if you loaded....but yhen again they might not if the tyre shoulder is more rounded....

Yeh, these are the style of wheels i'd hoped to get. If only to hide my standard discs :)

These came up yesterday at what I thought was cheap enough............£140?

Gixxerpat I met one of your fellow countrymen off the ferry at Cairnryan this morning. Picked up a lovely GSXR1000 track bike, built by TAZ Racing, slicks, wet tyres etc.... now to have some high speed fun.

Nice rims!

I've read that the diameter of the holes are too small for the Vito bolts, have you tried to fit them?

Cheers.

Yeh the bores are approx 0.040" - 0.080" tight. I'll open them out at work next week and try them on. Managed to get them grit blasted at work, so in the process of giving them a lick of paint. All primed and ready for a coating of gunmetal Grey Anthracite. Hopefully look ok
