Hello,

My 1989 300E is having some strange electrical issues. A month ago, all 4 windows + seats stopped working and I replaced all the blue fuses as well as the K24 convenience control module which brought the operation back.

A couple of weeks later, the same issue occurred and I replaced the K24 module one more time and it seemed to work again until now. I have checked these "failed" relays on the bench and they are operating properly when applied voltage to terminals 85 and 86, so the relay was never a problem to begin with.

Does anyone else have insight on to what else it could be?

I have find the wiring diagram, but I cannot tell what terminals are what on the K24 diagram:

As a starting point, replace OVP relay and ALL fuses inside the fusebox with the updated copper core type.

I looked at the diagram on the fuse box label and 86 was listed on fuse 2. This looks to be the unreadable print on the diagram for F1 connecting to the diode on K24. I replace fuse 2 (16A red fuse) and the windows seem to be working again. Thanks.

You might have a loose wire under the relay connection, try tapping or pushing on it,see if it all comes back, had a problem with light out indicator on dash and side markers out front and rear ,pulled all the relays out and lifted the relay socket out and found a loose conn there, now fixed
