ALDA problem

The engine of my 300 TD '83 only works if I unscrew the ALDA so that the piston rod throws upwards of the correction linkage, if the ALDA is in the position of normal work the motor accelerates very slowly and it does not raise of revs, Some idea where is the problem?.
I am not be able to find in the net technical documentation about the regulator(Type RW) of the inyeción pump. Could anybody provide some documentation or URL ?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like your ALDA is broken. Although it's common to adjust it for increased power off idle (it doesn't increase top end power), I've heard that about 10-20% of the time the internal diaphragm breaks and renders the unit useless. Mercedes does not sell the ALDA separately. You can try to find one at a junkyard, or try to buy one from a Bosch repair shop. It just unscrews, hold the brass nut underneath and turn the whole ALDA 'ccw' to remove it.

Good luck,
