Ok

So my alarm works but my central locking doesn't. It worked fine before but now it just quit. Checked the fuses seems fine.

Also

Seats only move when the doors are open but when closed the seats don't move.

Also windows don't work.

And central done light doesn't turn on? Only manually.

Seats and window work the way they should.
With door closed you need ignition on to reactivate them again.
With central locking - I am having opposite issue as my newly purchased W210 likes to lock itself even with the key in the ignition
Thanks to members help, I am zeroing the problem to trunk lock that has to have shortage somewhere. Had no time to take in apart and inspect, but turning the trunk tumbler to horizontal position where it locks mechanically seem to stop the trouble.

You have to turn ignition on to activate the seats.
Kind of strange set up and I guess MB engineers had safety in mind. Did bother me the first time, but like cruise control - once you figure it out, it becomes instinct.

Is your problem (doors locking when you are in car) not related to a faulty door switch...the car does not recognise you have opened the driver's door.

Those computerized system glitches can be a nightmare to figure out, especially when we don't really know how they should work in the first place. Did you try both seats including memory?
How much time you are willing to put in it? I would not see big deal in adjusting the seat before closing the door.

Yea both seats work only when doors are open and to adjust seats I need to open the doors even when I drive.

Well not a big deal about seats but central locking is a bigger issue.

I would like to figure out the central locking first and rest later.

So if you have any hints about central locking system I would greatly appreciate those.

Hi,
I have a similar problem.
Replaced the right front door today, the yellow pneumatic hose went of fine in both ends, now none of the doors locks.
When pushing the key, the lights in the mirror blinks normal 9 times green when open, 9 times red when lock.
Turn signal blinks one when open, twice when locking, but the central lock itself doesnt work.
When pushing the dashboard button down, i can hear the pump in the rear working, but nothing happens, and now i cant lock my car, the keylock on the door is rusted and stuck years ago...

Whats wrong?
