I drive a 2004 CLK320. Recently my car makes a mono tone beeping noise when I lock the door using a keyfob. In order to stop the beeping, I have to hit the panic button then unlock the door. Also, hitting the panic button triggers another off beeping sound but unlocking it make it all stop. Hence, I can't seem to lock my door. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any input.

I have the same problem with my 2002 ML500. It just started tonight. I have no idea what's going on with the alarm but I do know that I just got the B-service a couple weeks ago.. if they are at fault, I better not have to pay some ridiculous amount for some part that they probably messed with.
