This is my first post, and wanted to share something with everyone here. I have a 2002 S430 with leaky front struts at the top seals. I woke up this morning and the front passenger side was on the ground, while the driver side was sitting fine.

I've had problems with the car sinking to the ground in the past, but never just the one side. I jacked up the car, took the passenger wheel off, and noticed that a metal link was broken off the control arm. I temporarily tied it back onto the control arm. I then turned on the car, and the passenger side started to come up!

I thought that the entire strut exploded internally or something, but turned out the height sensor was off because of this broken link.

My question to you pros is, how do I permanently fix this link, as it appears it snapped off from the control arm. Can i purchase another one and replace it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the information expo.

Any idea where to purchase this from? I tried googling the part number and nothing came up.
