I don’t think there is a heatervalve on an w168.
You have a heaterflap.
The heater is always on full heat,but you adjust the temp by redirecting the airflow.
Colder means less air via the heater and more air via the bypass.
Also clean the tempsensor next to your interiorlight in the roofpanel.
Make sure the little fan is working in the sensor.
