I vaguely remember this being mentioned awhile back, but I can't find it. I apologize for a repeat. Anyway, in my '85 300CD, I have a switch in the engine compartment that changes between air conditioning and heat. I know this isn't standard on w123s (my mechanic said it was an incorrect part), and generally, I wouldn't care. But I've noticed anti-freeze dripping out of it when I have it over to heat, not too mention it's very annoying when trying to defog my windows (it's always either too hot or too cold on all climate control settings). I was just wondering what the part that is supposed to be there is, and if it's an easy replacement. Thanks. :)

Here's a pic.

There's supposed to be no part there at all, just a hose.
