Hello.. I have a problem with the car air conditioner.. The air conditioner has been recently serviced.. As I closed all the leaks and filled it with gas.. And I changed the cooling fans.. And the temperature is in its normal level..

The air conditioner works normally and its cooling is excellent..
But in traffic jams, the compressor disconnects and stops Cooling.. and I had to press the A/C button to restart it again..

so what could be the problem?

Thank you very much..

It is shutting down due to one of many reasons. Low refrigerant, difficulty cooling through condensor, bad expansion valve, etc. Mine did this a couple years back. Condensor coil finally went kaput taking the compressor with it. All new system later and all is well again. I guess it all worked out for the best but I’d rather not have gotten stranded without an a/c bypass belt. I would say your situation is cooling related as in the small condensor in front of radiator. It could have a slight blockage. When it is warm and idling, pressure would read abnormally high.

Our AC has never worked well. That's because the cooled air, after passing thru the compressor, goes through a hot part of the engine bay and it warms the air back up. We don't need AC except when it's really hot, and then the AC doesn't do the job. I just figure it's because it never gets really hot in Germany and they didn't think it through.

I am going to look at it again this spring and see if I can reroute or put in some insulation to improve this.

Respectfully David, the comments you are relaying here make no sense whatsoever.
Best to take your w163 to an MB indie to diagnose you actual ac issue, and not the design.
