When i bought my car it was missing the air cleaner assembly. Can someone give me a pic outlining what hoses are supposed to go plugged into it?
I need to get a manual as i have a hard time with the one online sometimes. Not that intuitive for my brain style.

My 88 and 89 300E 6 cylinders have the same air cleaner; not sure if its the same as yours. It bolts onto three mounting spots,( two on the intake manifold and one on the Fuel injection assembly. The air cleaner has a hose connecting a hole in the top of the assembly to a pipe on the cam cover. The fresh air hose consists of three parts; a piece mounted to the radiator support, a plastic flange that snaps onto the air cleaner assembly and a flexible hose connecting the two.

This sounds like it might be the same thing as i definitely see all of this working. But i think my air cleaner has one more hole in it. But then i may not have the right air cleaner. Can you tell me where your air sensor goes plugged in on your assembly?

I think we have different set ups. My car has no air sensor other than the fuel distributor assembly, which is under the air cleaner.
