I saw some quesions and answers. but I can't sure I need to program or not.

After installing aftermarket HID, Do I need to go to Dealer and program it?

If I have one installation kit of HID, is it working for only low beam?

How do I ..high and low beam work together?

Except buying new bi-xenon headlight.

well my friend has aftermarket on his ML...don't think he had it programmed at the dealer [also projector housing]

i have also read the threads you are talking about...and well from the kits ive seen...it should just plug into the socket for your normal halogen bulb [connecting to ballasts etc..etc..]

also on the projector...you have a separate chamber for high / low beam...so you would need to get a separate HID set for the low....don't think its really that necessary...but to each their own i guess.

hope it helps.

Year 2000 doesn't require any programming, just proper aiming.

If you go buy a second set of xenons for the hi-beams wouldn't it just be cheaper (and easier) to buy the bi-xenons to begin with. Plus, the startup time for seperate highbeam xenons would be a few seconds (not really practical).

Basically by going aftermarket the way you have, you've created older style low-beam-only HID lights.
